Laptop Gift Presented to Pastor Amrit Shrestha

Laptop Gift Presented to Pastor Amrit Shrestha

Let me quote the verse of 1 John 3:17: “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?”
This verse teaches that following these things is for the believers:

  • Love must be practical
  • Compassion must be active
  • Faith must produce fruit

God’s love is seen by what we do, not only by what we say
Jesus Himself said: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35
So we need to know the true teaching of Jesus: True Christianity is revealed through love that acts.
Jesus wants to show the mercy He showed us. Why?
We should know what God gave us first
  • God met our needs
  • God sacrificed His Son for us
  • God’s love is generous and self-giving
If God’s nature lives inside a believer, that nature must produce generosity, compassion, and action.
If you are a person truly born of God, you have:
  • compassion
  • mercy
  • a soft heart
  • love that moves them to action
If these are absent, the person may only have religion, not the love of God. So, let's share the love of God with each other.

09 December 2025

We, four brothers, visited Pastor Amrit Shrestha at his children’s home. Brother Jack was with us, representing Romania. We met the pastor, talked about his ministry, discussed current challenges, and explored how we can support his work in the future.

As brothers in Christ, we shared the love of Christ with one another and encouraged him to continue serving faithfully in the Kingdom of God. We prayed for him, his family, and his ministry. His wife kindly served us tea and fruits.

After about one hour of fellowship, Brother Jack handed over the laptop that was sent by Brother Paul. We prayed and asked God’s blessings upon him, and then we departed.

Thank you, Brother Jack and Brother Paul. You have truly demonstrated the love of Christ through your giving. The verse 1 John 3:17 can be remembered in this moment, because even though the gift may seem small, it carries great spiritual value. Let us continue to support those who are faithfully serving God, even in their material needs and daily struggles. There are many people in our country who truly need our help.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:35-40, “I was hungry, and you gave me food… whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.”

From this verse, we learn that helping others is helping Jesus, and ignoring the needy is ignoring Jesus. God never forgets the kindness you show to others.

Therefore, let us come together in unity and receive the reward from our Heavenly Father by serving people; giving food, offering help, caring for the needy, and leading them spiritually to our eternal God.

May God bless you all.

How I became a Christian?

How did I become a Christian and establish the churches in Sindhuli? When I was thirteen years old, I escaped to Kathmandu with my friends leaving home. Then, I faced so much grief and sorrow and painful experiences in life. I found a small textbook by someone in Dakshindhoka and it was written about the Lord Jesus, maybe, but I couldn't remember well. At that time I was very curious to understand that textbook but no one could say what that was about. In 2000 A.D., I got the chance to learn more about the Lord Jesus Christ through someone. When I heard about him, I became so excited and so happy, and then I accepted the Lord Jesus as my Lord and my Saviour by visiting Hope Church, Tusal, Baudha. After a week, I was baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Then after a month, I went to Sunday School teacher training with Pastor Eliya Pradhan. After training, I served for a few months in the Sunday School Fellowship. At the end of 2000 A.D., I heard about a...
