INTRODUCTION
Madhutar Bijay Church is located in Madhutar, Sindhulimadhi, Sindhuli, and is led by Eldress Mrs Nirmala Kumari Gole. The church is situated in Sindhuli, the district’s main city, approximately a five-minute walk from the bus park.
The church has more than 50 members who gather every Saturday for fellowship, coming from different locations. The church leader is actively involved in the Sindhuli Christian Unity Society and also occasionally oversees a nearby church in Fitting.
The church is situated in a residential area where Hinduism and Buddhism are the dominant religions. It is a small congregation with a growing fellowship. The attendees come from different castes, languages, and cultural backgrounds.
Pastors and church leaders from various parts of Nepal visit the church, join in fellowship, and encourage the believers with the Word of God. Many believers also uphold the church in their prayers.
The image shown was taken in the fellowship room during a regular fellowship time. The available space is not sufficient to accommodate all attendees. During these gatherings, I am often invited to deliver the sermon, and I participate by sharing the living Word of God with the congregation.
Due to the limited space, the believers are earnestly praying to God for an available and adequate place where they can continue their fellowship and grow in their spiritual life. One of the neighbors has offered his house for the fellowship; however, due to concerns about suitability and stability, the church members have not yet been able to make a final decision to move to a new location.
Urgent Needs
The church currently holds fellowship in a rented house and does not own any land for a church building. All the members are praying to buy land in the same area so that a new church can be built. They trust that God will provide everything at the right time.
Until the church is able to purchase land and meet these needs, the believers are praying to move to a place with enough space. However, before moving to a new location, repairs and some expansion work will be needed.
This is the next house where the believers are willing to move from the previous room. It has a mini hall with seating capacity for about 70-100 people, which will allow the believers to fellowship more comfortably than in the previous room.
However, the roof and windows are damaged because stones have fallen from the higher neighboring building. The owner has allowed the church to use the room if the repairs are done by the church. Before using the hall, the believers need funds to repair and maintain the room.
As shown by the arrow in the image, repairs are required. The estimated cost is at least Rs. 300,000 or more to complete the work. This cost includes labor charges, joining the rooms inside, replacing the roof with a new one, and repairing other necessary items.
If you are inspired, please pray for this church and its needs, asking God to provide His blessings. They truly need our prayer support. If you feel led, please share this post with others. With your prayers and material support, we will all be blessed in God.
If anyone is inspired to help, you are most welcome. I will also share updates here, including the names of supporters, for public readers.
Thank you very much.
May God bless you all.
